Biography

Dr. Gunby is a gastroenterologist with expertise in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and diverticular disease. She believes in partnering with her patients to deliver excellent evidence-based care that is in alignment with her patients’ goals for their health. Her research focuses on clinical applications of intestinal ultrasound, as well as the epidemiology of IBD and diverticular disease.

Dr. Gunby completed her gastroenterology fellowship and her internal medicine residency at the University of Washington. She obtained her MD from the University of Washington School of Medicine. She is a member of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, the International Bowel Ultrasound (IBUS) Group, and the Intestinal Ultrasound Group of the United States and Canada (iUSCAN). Dr. Gunby also serves on the Education and Training Committee of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA).
